CAPs offers pre-employment soft skills training that addresses workplace vocabulary, personal appearance, basic communication skills, basic written communication and a host of preparation workshops. We will assist our job seekers in obtaining and completing required training to qualify for positions that are currently available and committed by employers. These trainings have included industry positions in the Customer Service; Transportation, Distribution and Logistics; Healthcare; Protective Services; Retail; Construction; Government; Child Care and a host of positions requiring hands-on training.
One of our greatest tools is government sponsored on-the-job training, meaning we pay a job seeker to work for the business for a specific length of time to get the necessary experience, before the employer hires. This method has yielded job placement of an average of 500 job seekers per year.
